Welcome to LaserHuis Pro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our software and services. By purchasing, downloading, or using LaserHuis Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License Grant

1.1 Software License

LaserHuis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LaserHuis Pro software ("Software") subject to the terms of your purchased license plan:

  • Trial License: 7-day evaluation period with full features, limited to one trial per email address and one trial per device.
  • Standard License: 1-month access to the Software for personal or commercial use.
  • Professional License: 6-month access to the Software for personal or commercial use.
  • Enterprise License: 1-year access to the Software for personal or commercial use.

1.2 Hardware Binding

Each license is bound to a single computer/device. The license key cannot be transferred to another device without explicit authorization from LaserHuis. Contact support if you need to transfer your license due to hardware upgrade or replacement.

1.3 License Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Share your license key with others
  • Use the Software on multiple devices simultaneously with a single license
  • Remove or modify any copyright notices or proprietary markings
  • Resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software
  • Use the Software for any illegal purposes

2. Payment and Billing

2.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are subject to change with notice. Current pricing:

  • Standard: €12 for 1 month
  • Professional: €60 for 6 months
  • Enterprise: €99 for 1 year

2.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information on our servers. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

2.3 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital software:

  • Trial licenses are free and non-refundable
  • Paid licenses are generally non-refundable after the license key is delivered
  • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if you have not activated your license
  • Contact support@laserhuis.com for refund requests

3. License Expiration and Renewal

3.1 Expiration

Your license will expire at the end of the purchased period. The Software will cease to function after expiration unless renewed.

3.2 Renewal

You may renew your license at any time by purchasing a new license. There is no automatic renewal - you maintain full control over when and if you renew.

3.3 Grace Period

We provide a 3-day grace period after expiration during which you may renew your license without losing access to your settings and projects.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to purchase and manage licenses. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Account Information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to update your information to keep it accurate and current.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

LaserHuis Pro, including all software code, designs, graphics, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by LaserHuis and protected by intellectual property laws. Your license does not transfer ownership rights.

5.2 User-Generated Content

You retain all rights to images and designs you create using the Software. The Software processes your files locally and does not claim ownership of your work.

6. Software Updates

6.1 Updates and Upgrades

We may release updates, patches, and new versions of the Software. Updates are included with active licenses at no additional cost. Major version upgrades may require a new purchase.

6.2 Automatic Updates

The Software may check for updates automatically and notify you when new versions are available. You can control update settings within the Software.

7. Privacy and Data

7.1 Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary for license validation and service provision. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7.2 Local Processing

The Software processes your images and designs locally on your computer. We do not upload, store, or access your project files.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

8.1 As-Is Basis

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

8.2 Use at Your Own Risk

You use the Software at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage to your equipment, data loss, or business interruption resulting from the use of the Software.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Maximum Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LASERHUIS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9.2 Liability Cap

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Software at any time. No refunds will be provided for unused license time.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your license if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Software for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent license protection
  • Share your license key with others

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies from your devices.

11. Support and Maintenance

11.1 Technical Support

We provide email support at support@laserhuis.com for active license holders. Support includes:

  • License activation assistance
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Feature guidance

11.2 Response Time

We aim to respond to support requests within 48 hours during business days. Response times are not guaranteed.

12. Modifications to Terms

12.1 Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Software.

12.2 Continued Use

Your continued use of the Software after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

13.1 Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation. Contact us at support@laserhuis.com to begin dispute resolution.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LaserHuis regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
